THE MAURI FORDHAM FORMULA VEE TROPHY
Originally the Victorian Formula Vee Championship, this event was dedicated to the late Mauri Fordham who was a great supporter of Phillip Island, & a mainstay of Formula Vees for over 20 years, particularly in the earlier years when PIARC & Phillip Island hosted the Vee Nationals and boasted up to 70 Vees per meeting.

Wondering if you on my behalf could give a big thank you to the VIC Formula Vee club for the friendly, welcoming and can do attitude they gifted me over the last weekend at Sandown. It was great to race side by side with other drivers in a safe and respectful manner and this I must say considering it was my first time at the track was greatly appreciated. Also a big thanks to the guys who assisted me with the packing up of the trashed JACER. This was especially appreciated as too were the members who checked in to see if I was ok. Great bunch and hey!
