GRAY SISTERS BACK ON THE VEE GRID AT SANDOWN THIS WEEKEND

THE UNQUIE occurrence of sisters racing in the same field will be a highlight of this weekend’s Victorian Formula Vee title round at Sandown Raceway. Altona sisters Maddison and Lauren Gray will compete head to head this weekend for the second time in Formula Vee, having done so at the most recent round at Phillip Island last month. Maddison – who turns 21 on the Saturday of the meeting this weekend – will compete with Hendrick Racing in the 1600cc class whilst older sister Lauren will race under the LGM banner in the same 1200cc car Maddison drove to the 2012 class championship.

Maddie is hoping for some birthday success this weekend after a promising start to her season to date. I can’t wait to getting back in the car
