Round One of the Formula Vee Australia Series was run at Sydney Mototsport Park and for the 1600 Michael Kinsella made a clean sweep of all three races and for the 1200, Lindsay Murfet won the first two but was pipped at the post by Bernie Cannon in the feature race. Two first and a second was a great result for Lindsay travelling up from Tasmania for his first run on the brilliant SMSP track, well done.
