The FVAA wishes to notify engine builders, sealers and members that it has been reported by some engine builders that the above head has been supplied with non-compliant valve seats.
If using this head, please check the valve seats to ensure they meet the Formula Vee specification of 45˚ seat with a 75˚ throat cut. If they do not meet this specification they will need to be recut to be acceptable for competition use.
The FVAA is in the process making templates for sealers in order to make it easier to check these valve cuts.
