10-07-2008 TAS CAMS National Round
The Formula Vee Association of Tasmania has once again been invited to field a category at the upcoming CAMS National Round to be held at Symmons Plains on the 20-21st September. The Formula Vee Association of Tasmania would like to invite interstate competitors of both 1200 and 1600 classes to be a part of this meeting. As was the case last year all interstate competitors will receive free entry to this meeting to help subsidise getting your vee to Tassie. The event runs over Saturday and Sunday, with qualifying and one race on Saturday and three races on Sunday. Also worth considering is that on the following weekend (27-28th September) there is a round of the State Championship at Baskerville. Therefore if you are able to stay for the week and have a look around Tassie or alternatively leave your vee here there is an opportunity to compete over two consecutive weekends. Baskerville will be the venue for the Nationals in 2009, hence this provides a great opportunity for competitors to familiarise themselves with this very technical track.
