04-04-2007 Targeted Scrutiny and OLT at Sandown meeting

Document Actions

A number of things are going to be different at the first CAMS sanctioned event of the year at Sandown (May 11-13). An Observed Licence Test will be held on the Friday along with the normal Private Practice. The initial part of the OLT will be held prior to the start of practice (10.00 am). If any members wish to gain their CAMS Licence in order to compete in this event this is an opportunity.

The cost of the OLT will be $555.00 including Private Practice and Racing. Please contact the Entry Secretary Kay Herlihy or Race Secretary David Vernall for entry forms and details. They will also be posted on the web site as soon as they are approved (www.vicstateraceseries.com).

Competitors must also remember to arrange to have their vehicles Targeted Scruitneered prior to Sandown, if they have not done so already.

To re-iterate the situation, all race meetings run under the CAMS banner will have targeted scrutiny as the objective, it is important that all members have their cars checked as part of the system. ALL entries will be accepted for the May Sandown meeting irrespective of the vehicles scrutineering status. Working together with the CAMS  State Office we will ensure that no one misses out. Refer the attachment for further details.
