13-06-2008 National Series Young Driver Development Award
As the 2008 Shannons National Series kicks off this weekend at Phillip Island, the FVAA, in conjunction with CAMS and the Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF), is pleased to announce the 2008 Formula Vee Young Driver Development Award. This award is open to all competitors between the ages of 16-26 years who compete in any or all of the three rounds in this years National Series which kicks off this weekend at Phillip Island. The competitor with the most accumulated points after the three rounds will be declared the 2008 Formula Vee National Series Best Young Driver.
The prize is a place on the AMSF Driver Development Program in January 2009. The Program is open to a limited number of the best Australian drivers from all categories and will involve an intensive 3 day course at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. Further details are available at:
